Recent trip to Las Vegas

I woke up Sunday morning and decided I needed to do something. A trip would be nice, but to where? Since it was familiar territory for me and I was going alone, Las Vegas was the perfect answer.

It was a last minute trip, as I was going to be flying out that day, so I had to do a lot of quick research. Searching flights and
hotels
for the best deals available.

Now that I was on the plane, I had to decide what to do once I was there. I viewed the in flight magazine and decided on a few freebies. Of course I would take on the free sites like the fountains of Bellagio and the lions at the MGM. I also wanted to see the 42 foot Christmas tree at the Bellagio.

Other things I found included some free gambling at the Hooters Casino and the Casino Royale. The Imperial Palace provided a free ticket to their Auto Collection if you signed up for their players club, also free fun book with a lot of buy one get one free coupons.

I also signed up for the players club at the Tropicana and received a free deck of cards which will be in someone's stocking next Christmas. A cheap dinner was provided at the Sahara...their buffet only $6.99 with your player's club card.

The New Year's party was the most exciting I had ever been with many hotels shooting off fireworks from their rooftops. All in all a great last minute trip with lots of freebies and of course good deals because it was last minute.
